CBD Oil. Does It Work?

I am always skeptical of new supplements and feel like I have tried quite a few alternative painkillers and anti-inflammatories. When I heard about CBD or Cannabidiol Oil I was intrigued but also assumed that there would be a narcotic, drugged effect from it like you would get from marijuana.

What I have discovered is that CBD Oil is really quite different from THC which is the psychoactive part of cannabis/marijuana and there really is no “high” or psychoactive effect that you might expect when you are using even very potent and fresh CBD Oil.

My own experience which was nothing less than miraculous is a great example.

Last year I had to travel for an event and my back was really bothering me. After I arrived in Vermont I realized it was really stiff from the flight so I decided to try some CBD Oil since I had heard so many good things about it. If you are looking for a Playa del Carmen English Speaking Dentist for your next trip or long holiday you are in luck because there are some good ones now in 2020. I have a couple good friends from Vermont who have been coming down and getting dental work done for a couple years now and saving 75% over estimated dental costs back in the United States.

Of course, people have known for years that you could go over the border and get some cheap dental work done but the quality and the clinic might not be upstanding. What’s different now in Mexico and especially in the Riviera Maya is that modern medicine and dentistry has become mainstream in large cities and tourist areas. The quality and care you can expect now for dental work in Playa del Carmen is very comparable to the United States and Canada but you can pay a fraction of the price.

Whether you are looking for major dental work like root canals and implants or just teeth cleaning and teeth whitening you will find a lot of dentists available to choose from now in Playa del Carmen but not all of them speak English or they speak only a little. This can be frustrating, I can tell you from my own experience before I spoke Spanish, how complicated this can get. If there is any kind of miscommunication, it could be bad for your smile.

You might find some good choices for Playa del Carmen English speaking dentists by checking on the top directory sites like dentaldepartures.com and whatclinic.com but it’s important to remember these clinics and dentists have paid for advertising on these directory sites to be listed on the “Top 10 Dentists in Playa del Carmen” listings.

These guys have great reviews on their website and look in every way like a good clinic. The only downside is that they are located inside Playacar Phase 2 Residential which can be complicated to enter for non residents.

Dental Integral Playa del Carmen is my English speaking dentist who I have used for 7 years while living in Playa. Dr. Victor speaks English and Spanish and he is very kind and personable. I have had several crowns and root canals done by the dentists at Dental Integral along with regular checkups and cleanings. The clinic is modern, clean and comfortable and the service always professional. They are located downtown on 35th Av. between Calle 2 and Calle 4 and are accepting new clients for cosmetic and general dentistry.

There prices are also a little lower, which is great if you need to get a lot of teeth done or have implants, crowns or root canals. I would highly recommend these guys from personal experience but you can also take a look at there reviews online or call them for a consultation. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and service.

Riding Bikes In Playa del Carmen

Playa del Carmen a is an amazing growing tourist zone, one of the most developed and known places of the Riviera Maya, with the biggest international demographic in México.

Looking for something to do?

The ideal way to enjoy Playa del Carmen at its finest and to know every place is to explore the city by bike. This will allow you to see so much more and experience the city like a local.

The classic beach cruiser bikes are the most popular here because they are so easy to ride and affordable. They most often are single speed and pedal brake for simplicity but you can find hand brake bikes with gears if it is important to you.

If you are staying in Playa for more than a month it may make sense to buy bikes since they are not very expensive. The bike shops to buy bikes are located on 30th Ave. and there are many different choices and styles available to buy a bike in Playa del Carmen.

If you are here for less than a month you can rent a bike in Playa on 10th Ave. There are many shops to choose from although the shops in the tourist zone are more focused on daily or hourly rentals and do not offer good prices on weekly rentals. It will cost around $10 to $15 dollars a day.

For longer term bike rentals up to a month there a couple good shops that will also deliver the bikes:

Playa Bike Rentals – located near Calle 24 and 10th ave. this shop is hidden away in a residential area so is difficult to find. It is better to call first to get directions or take advantage of the free delivery service. They are known for their good service and bike quality but are a little more expensive.

Best Bike Rentals– This is a new shop that just opened in the Colosio neighborhood that offers services to rent bikes from 1 day up to a month and also delivery service with 24 hour notice.

“With 80 bikes available there is no limit on the quantity of bikes” claims Roberto the manager. They will also be offering a Punta Esmerelda City Bike Tour soon and they have newer bikes that haven’t gotten rusted yet. Service of Delivery & Pick Up the door of your place or drop into the shop at 84 st. & 10 Av. This is a great option if you are staying on the North side of town.

Buy or rent a bike in Playa del Carmen. You will enjoy the experience very much and get to see so much more than walking or sitting in a hot car in traffic.

Top Spots For Playa del Carmen Snorkeling 2018

One secret that many people do not realize is that for a great Playa del Carmen snorkeling experience you do not need to travel very far out of Playa!

There’s so many great places in and around Beach for a snorkeling that it can be overwhelming trying to decide which to try. I will provide you with my current review for 2018 to understand your options and decide if you would rather try to do something guided or on your own. Something local or a little out of town. A cave and cavern cenote experience or are you in search of whale sharks or sea turtles? Let me start off with the 3 best spots and why:

Playa del Carmen Reef Snorkeling

In my opinion, this is the best snorkeling experience in Playa. Just a short boat ride off the coast of Playa to the reef area and you are certain to see all kinds of exotic fish, be it turtles and sometimes rays or barracudas. Although it is not far off the coast of Playa it is best to do this with a guide who can take you directly to the best spots on the reef. It is possible to go snorkeling just off Coco Beach in front of the Diablito Cha Cha Cha Beach Club . I would not recommend this for inexperienced snorkelers, however, because to swim out to the reef area you will need to go through a boating area and it is a bit of a swim. I had a good friend who used to go spearfishing in this spot and claimed it was teeming with fish and sea life.

Every time I have taken a tour of the reef I have seen amazing fish that I had not seen before and I always loved it because it was easy and close to home. Sometimes you will find the fish and turtles on your own but they are much more likely to be seen if you go with a guide who knows where to find them. Cave and Cavern Cenotes

I have heard that there may be as many as 7000 cenotes in the Yucatan peninsula area, many not yet discovered! You may know that there are 2 different kinds of cenotes. One is the Swimming Hole type like the Garden of Eden which is a popular destination for swimmers and snorkelers. I really like this cenote as a swimming hole but actually prefer the cavern type for snorkeling and exploring.

In the cavern cenote tour from the The Snorkel Shop you get to visit the best local cenotes that are close by but not everyone knows about. You will see amazing underwater rock formations and chasms along with the spectacular stalactites and natural beauty of the location. Muyil: Culture And Adventure In One Place. Quintana Roo.

Community Tours Sian Ka’an is a community company that has been working within the reserve and local communities for 15 years. They offer 10 different tours and on this occasion we visit Muyil. It should be noted that this Tourism company will become the first Carbon Neutral community operator in Mexico through the implementation of good environmental practices that were announced within the framework of its 13th anniversary.

Just 20 minutes from Tulum is Muyil, this place offers a unique experience, not only the magic of the archaeological zone in the middle of the jungle or its different lagoons that are connected by channels, Muyil is more than that, the energy that keeps this place is unique.

An expert guide will walk you through the different paths that connect the beautiful forest and from which the different temples stand out. Some of them have not yet been fully restored. This site is currently one of the most important in the reserve.

The Archaeological Zone of Muyil has several different types of Mayan buildings, each building tells us a little more about this great civilization. “El Castillo” is the highest structure of the north-central coast of Quintana Roo and is 17 meters high, according to some research this place was built in two stages.

One of the particular features of “El Castillo” is that in the upper part of it is “la torre”, a part adorned with stones simulating thorns.

This interesting Mayan archaeological zone is located within the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve. It has been an important site of ceremonial discoveries that were part of the Mayan rituals.

After discovering a bit more of the history of the Mayas, you will cross an interpretive trail, where you will be able to observe different flora and fauna characteristic of the area. Zapote, cohechen and ficus, is only part of the flora that houses this jungle. In addition to that you can see up close different water outlets from which emanates fresh water springs.

The best way to have a panoramic view of the jungle and the lagoon that connects with the Caribbean Sea is to climb the viewpoint that is located at the end of the trail. Surprise yourself with all the gifts that nature will give you! After doing this tour, you will arrive at the lagoon. The first sight to this one is impressive, its blue tones that contrast with the green of the forest is unique.

A boat will take you to this part of the adventure, stroll along the connecting channels and discover another part of the ruins. This site is perfect to follow the course swimming and learn more about the fauna and flora that inhabits the place, letting you take the flow.

On the way through the canals, we could observe some orchids, different types of plants and fish that inhabit this beautiful place.
