We head to Xpu Há just 15 minutes south of Playa del Carmen to enjoy the weekend at the Serenity Eco Luxury Camp. The term used today is “Glamping”, glamorous luxury camping. Our tent had all the amenities found in a typical hotel room; king size bed, writing table, running water for hot showers, sink and toilet along with electricity for air conditioning, lighting and wifi but no tv. All the tents are nestled together like a camp with little stone trails and many decorative pieces along the way.

The camp hosts a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner called Mystic, daily  yoga, a spa, centralized pool and a beach club called «Serenity Camp».  Xpu-Há beach hosts crystal clear water and soft sand. Waiters at the beach club are there to provide drinks and food and there is a number of beach beds and chairs to sit and relax.
